| Music |
After my degree in Music I have continued to pursue my interests in musical analysis and piano performance, giving recitals in various occasions. For example, I performed a concert at the international conference "Mathematics and its applications" (Turin, July 2006), and I gave a piano solo recital in Trinity College Chapel (Cambridge, May 2008). |
| Philosophy
and
cognitive science |
My mathematical work has always been accompanied by a wider reflection on the abstract principles inspiring it. This has led me to a number of insights on the nature of mathematical creativity and more in general of logical reasoning, which I have informally divulged to friends and colleagues throughout the years. I plan to eventually collect these thoughts into a book describing the philosophical foundations of my work on unifying Mathematics through Topos Theory. |
